IGNITE Pantry is a new food pantry serving ODU students, faculty, and staff in need. In 2015, IGNITE Norfolk, a church and campus ministry at ODU, began working with ODU to investigate the issue of food insecurity on ODU’s campus. Through a survey, it was discovered that roughly one in every four students struggles with food insecurity.
